In this fascinating guided tour you will experience the Maya culture through its origins, visiting two extraordinary archaeological sites: Tulum and Coba. You will also visit and share the life and the history of a true Maya community in the Emerald Village.
Coba, an archaeological site built in the middle of the classical period of the mayan civilization, between the years 500 and 900. Coba is considered one of the biggest and most important mayan cities.
The archaeological site of Tulum is located on the east coast of the state of Quintana Roo, in the region better known as the Riviera Maya, and is the only archaeological area in the Maya World built next to the sea.
The main architecture of the Maya city was conformed of palaces, temples, pyramids, ceremonial ball games and aligned structures for astronomical observation.
The Coba Maya Village (Community Project) has prepared for you a day of exciting activities that you will share with a typical Maya community making this memorable experience full of learning and that will make you admire this ancestral culture

Typical food
In the Maya culture the corn was considered the main ingredient in their daily food, for which they are known as the men of corn, the Maya community will invite you to try a delicious typical dish that includes this traditional ingredient, additionally: (soup, chicken, rice, beans, handmade tortillas and flavor waters).
